Behind The Seams

When we started Heritage Links, we thought making a sweater would be as simple as picking a color and calling it a day. Spoiler: it wasn’t.

Turns out, there’s a whole secret language of tech packs, yarn weights, and stitch gauges. We quickly learned that “one-size-fits-all” is a joke, and that fabric can look amazing on screen… and feel like cardboard in real life.

Ordering samples was a rollercoaster. Some arrived too stiff, some too thin, and a few just looked… confused. But seeing our ideas actually come to life? Totally worth it.

We’re still learning, still tweaking, and still occasionally Googling things like “what is gauge again?” But that’s the fun of it—making something classic, comfortable, and actually worth wearing.

Follow along for more behind-the-scenes chaos, and maybe one day you’ll see the perfect sweater hit your closet.
